Ken Fletcher Park has offered residents another great place to relax by the river since it opened last December

The park is named in honor of Brisbane’s tennis great Ken Fletcher and is conveniently located next to Tennis Queensland’s Headquarters in Tennyson.

The $6 million, 2.9 hectare park sets new standards for accessibility in Brisbane. It features accessible and inclusive play equipment, interpretive signage and toilets equipped with a change table..

The park has an open-air amphitheater, public plaza, picnic facilities with barbecues and a public pontoon to enable water access for non-motorized boats, kayaks, and canoes. Seating and picnic settings that accommodate people with reduced mobility and wheelchairs have also been provided… So get away and chillax, just relax with the family, or even with friends or by yourself, you’ll enjoy the time you spend here.
